Superlight Aluminum Clutchplates . 1 lbs and even more weight saving at the clutch is possible, by a simple swap, because Aluminum is only 34% weight of steel !

My special Section. Working on RC30's since 1990 , and I may have had close to 40 RC30's during past 18 years, I think I still know every srew or washer of this Bike. Saving weight , where most weight saving Potential is . Thats the Combination of Fuelcell, Fueltank-Cover, and Tailsection . Usually I develop lightweight Fuelcells from Carbon or Aluminum, which are located very near to the center of Gravity + a matching Fueltank-Cover and a Carbon Tailsection ( Monocoque ) , which does not need a Subframe anymore. Weight savings then are driven to a Maximum , up to 40lbs shaved weight possible .

What we know is a lot less than what we don't know. Nobody is an Exception from that rule.
